OVERVIEW
QuranTalk is a mobile app designed to nurture mental well-being for young Muslim adults by offering a curated selection of Quranic verses categorized by emotion.
My work includes full stack design of the mobile platform for both iOS and Android, incorporating an intuitive system where users can easily find verses that address their current emotional state.
QuranTalk yielded over one thousand downloads in the first 4 months of launch across both Android and iOS platforms. Currently, QuranTalk sits at 4.8 and 5 star ratings across both, Google Play Store and App Store with a growing number in downloads and stellar user feedback.

Personalisation
QuranTalk’s current version is the second iteration on my take on it. I gathered extensive user feedback on version one’s gaps and redesigned for a better, more intuitive and personalised QuranTalk.

Coined from the idea of connecting users with the verses of the Holy Quran based on their emotional states, version 1 was created to do just that and be on point!

Design for Mental Health
Making sure our users felt grounded in their personal journeys with QuranTalk - we made sure to drop in reminders every day that had positive and supportive outlooks in them with aim to boost the user’s mood and morale.

The website was created with an aim to not only drive conversions but also encompass the essence of what QuranTalk has to offer - this resulted in an illustration focused approach while keeping minimalism as a main element
